I’ve been using the Tweet Adder twitter automation software for over 4 months 20 months and now I think it’s time to do a complete product review and really share some of the experiences I’ve had with it over the last few months.
Update, April 10, 2012: I’ve now used Tweet Adder for almost TWO YEARS and I still stand behind this product as the best Twitter Friend Adder software available! This product has stood the test of time for me, and continues to pay off to this day. I can’t even begin to imagine how much time it has saved me over the last 2 years. TweetAdder has paid for itself over, and over, and over, and over, and over again! It is a MUST HAVE in my internet marketing toolbox.
First off, I’d like to say that I think the point of my Tweet Adder Reviews is that it has been well worth the small investment I made to manage my twitter accounts on auto pilot.
I bought a multi-user license for because I have multiple twitter accounts. One account is for my personal use, and I have a couple others that I have set up for different websites.
At first I almost gave up on twitter because I had a hard time finding a decent twitter management solution and I was spending way too much time on twitter while trying to get stuff done.
The fact that I use a MacBook Pro and not a PC computer made it difficult to find any software that I could use… Most of the popular twitter software available today will only run on a windows machine.
I was very excited to check out Tweet Adder when I found out that it works on a mac. And so I bought myself a multi account license and started playing with it. This is my review of Tweet Adder.
Convenient Twitter Account Management
Being able to manage all of my accounts from one convenient window saves a ton of time, effort, and frustration. Since turning to Tweet Adder and trying twitter automation I have been able to save hours every week from logging into these accounts, firing out tweets and re-tweets, replying to direct messages, sending direct messages, and searching for like-minded twitter friends and followers. Tweet Adder has literally been a godsend.
The convenient overview screen in tweet adder makes it simple to manage all of your twitter accounts and get an idea of what’s going on with each account all from one single screen.
You can have as many twitter accounts as you want on this one screen, and it would still be easy to read what each one is doing, and make any changes if you need to.
Once you are comfortable reading this screen, you’ll see that you can really get a good idea for what is going on with all of your accounts with just a quick glance at the overview screen. I really like this feature a lot, so it’s the first thing I wanted to talk about in this Tweet Adder review.
Following & Followers Lists
Another great feature is the ability to see all of your followers and all of the people who are following you.
This feature will actually show you the search term that you used to find them, the date and time that they started following you or that you started following them, their username, and a bunch of great information about each of the people who you follow or who follow you.
This screen is another good feature that I have found handy several times when managing twitter accounts. It provides you with useful information about the people you’ve got on your list, and the people who have you on their lists.
You can sort them by when they followed you, by user name, and by search term on this screen.
White List & Black List
The white list and black list settings are handy when you want to make sure that your account doesn’t follow certain profiles, and also to make sure that certain profiles are not removed or unfollowed once you’ve followed them.
It’s a good idea to make sure you take the time to set up your white and black lists because otherwise you may end up with people on your list that you’d rather not have there, or you could end up unfollowing certain people that you’d like to follow, even if they aren’t following you back.
Search Users to Follow
The most powerful twitter tool that comes with Tweet Adder Reviews is the search features. The laser targeted search features are really my favorite part about this whole deal. The twitter user search in Tweet Adder is absolutely amazing, you can literally find users in so many ways it’s almost a little overwhelming at first.
With this set of options you choose users that you want to follow. Many of those that you follow will follow you back simply because you followed them. This is a good way to find like minded twitter friends to add to your follow list.
First off, you can search for users by their tweets. You can enter keywords and return anyone who has those keywords in their tweets. This is an extremely powerful tool that will help you laser target other twitter users by what they are tweeting about.
Second, you can search for users by what they have in their profile data fields. So, if someone’s bio says that they are an internet marketer and you search for users who have that in their profile data, you will find those users who are all interested in internet marketing and you can add the whole lot of them to your ‘to follow list’!
You may also search for twitter users by location, so if you only want to follow people from a specific region you are able to do that as well.
One of the neatest features I’ll tell you about in my Tweet Adder reviews is the ability to follow users who follow a certain user. For example, if you want to follow only people who also follow Oprah you can do that. Or, in reverse, if you want to only follow the people that Oprah follows, you can do that as well! What an incredibly powerful tool this type of search can be. Really, it’s a dream come true to have access to tools such as these.
And of course, you can also search twitter users by lists that they are on or lists that they follow. Another fantastic added bonus for buying a tweet adder license.
Follow & Unfollow Twitter Users
The main selling feature on Tweet Adder is the follow/unfollow users capability. This is where all the magic happens and how you can really set twitter on auto pilot.
With these features you can set twitter to automatically follow and unfollow users that you put on the follow or unfollow lists using these tools. In the images here you see that “follow” and “unfollow” both show a green button, while “follow back” has a red button.
The green buttons mean that the automation is turned on and that Tweet Adder is following and unfollowing users automatically for me. I have set “follow back” to off, because I don’t want to automatically follow all of the users who follow me. I only want to follow those users that I’ve put onto my follow list.
In the settings you can set up Tweet Adder to only add so many people per day, and only add people until you’ve reached a maximum or minimum ratio of followers to the number of people you follow. I hope you can see how powerful this really is, as you’re reading my tweet adder review.
You can set these same settings for your unfollow automation to make sure that tweet adder doesn’t remove too many people from your list, and to make sure that only certain types of users are removed. This is definitely one of the most important features of this twitter automation software.
Automatic Tweets & Re-Tweets
Another fabulous feature of Tweet Adder is the ability to pre-load hundreds or thousands of tweets in advance and have them set to go out at the perfect time, every time.
Not only can you load up thousands of tweets ahead of time, but you can actually GENERATE tweets right inside the Tweet Adder software!
You can also rig up your twitter account to tweet out RSS feeds and automatically re-tweet messages from specific users! You can really have a fully automated twitter account with software like Tweet Adder in your hands.
One more thing you can do from this menu is automatically send out @replies to people who send @messages to you. This can be fine tuned to appear completely personal and typed by a real person. Twitter automation doesn’t get any more awesome than that!
Automated Messages
One more thing that Tweet Adder can do is send out automatic direct messages whenever someone follows you. This is considered a ‘thank you’ message, and it’s perfect if you run a blog or a website or promote a certain product or something. As soon as someone becomes one of your followers, you can have Tweet Adder automatically send them a thank you message that has a link to your blog, or an affiliate link for Idol Lash or another of the products you promote.
How cool is that?!
Twitter Trends Research
Another incredibly valuable thing that comes with Tweet Adder is the ability to do twitter trends research right from within the Tweet Adder software. With this feature you are able to find out what’s popular on twitter, what people are searching for, what people are tweeting about, and what the hottest tweets and re-tweets are.
You can find the most popular hashtags, and the most popular people and things on the entire twitter network. The possibilities are really endless with this kind of search power.

UPDATE, April 10, 2012: It’s been well over a year since I first posted this Tweet Adder review, and I’m still using the software to this day. In fact, it’s running right now! I don’t think I need to say much more, it pretty much speaks for itself… Most internet marketing software and products become obsolete in 5 or 6 months, but Tweet Adder has survived the test of time and I am approaching 2 years of consistent use.
